Ride for a Reason
Jeff Keith has contacted Sampson Outdoors, exclusively to participate with his Ride for Reason Reunion ride.
This is the first year that Jeff Keith’s ride for reason includes the opportunity for participants to help raise funding for the at-risk military veterans that Sampson Outdoors supports.
This event raises funds to benefit underprivileged and at-risk youth in Northern California and this year is expanding to support veterans, as well.
The Higher Purpose Foundation works with local organizations and provides services for children in need. If you would like to be a sponsor or for more information, please contact Higher Purpose Events.
An important letter from Whitney Webb of Higher Purpose
I hope this letter finds you well! My name is Whitney Webb and I am writing on behalf of Higher Purpose-The Event Foundation. Our organization, which has been working to make an impact for veterans and children since 2011, is proud and honored to host the first annual “Jeff Keith’s Ride for Ryan,” on May 3, 2025. Since the unexpected passing of the founder Ryan Fleenor, Higher Purpose-The Event Foundation is coming back with an even bigger mission in our hearts.
Our mission is to provide trauma informed services to at risk, underprivileged children and veterans so that we renew hope for a better tomorrow. Our organization is devoted to ensuring our veterans have the services they need to heal and that every child is given the opportunity to succeed. We have partnered with the STARS Program to provide vital services for children and their families, Toys 4 Tots, and with other programs such as Sampson Outdoors, Wild OPS and the Veterans Golf Program.
We admire your dedication to the community and your desire to make this world a better place. Higher Purpose-The Event Foundation strives to make a difference in the lives of our community members and your sponsorship or donation will create meaningful and long lasting change. In return for your generosity as a sponsor, we offer several benefits:
- Recognition in our promotional materials, including social media, banners, flyers, and all outreach platforms such as Good Day Sacramento, FOX 40 and radio shows.
- Exposure to our supporters and community members through our events and communications as well as vendor booth opportunities for your company to promote.
- Opportunities for engagement, such as volunteer days or vendor booths at events.
We’re open to discussing additional ways to customize our partnership to align with your objectives and ensure mutual benefit. Below you’ll find the sponsorship package for this event. Please share this opportunity with anyone that is interested in contributing to this event!
Thank you for considering a partnership with Higher Purpose-The Event Foundation. Together, we can make a meaningful impact that will change the lives of many.
Warm regards,
Whitney Webb

Annual Banquet 2023
Thanks to all our 2023 members along with all the new friends who attended our Annaul Banquet in December of 2023, SAMPSON OUTDOORS raised $5,000 for veterans. This was donated to WILD OPS®, a veteran nonprofit organization dedicated to helping fellow combat veterans find support, hope, and healing in the battle transitioning back into civilian life, through faith-based programs.
Sampson Outdoors sincerely appreciates your contribution to our cause and support to our club. Throughout the year through club memberships, merchandise sales, and of course all the money raised at our annual banquet, donations made throughout 2023 helped raise over $35,000 for our veterans!
IDPA 2023
With the help of the Sacramento Defensive Pistol Shooters and the 2023 International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) – SAMPSON OUTDOORS raised $4,400 for veterans.
