One-of-a-Kind Elk Hunt
In the Eastern part of Oregon, where the Rocky Mountain Elk gather, get your chance at this limited window cow elk hunt.
These hunts are conducted with an established Outfitter with a history of a high harvest success. All hunts are conducted on a large private ranch. These hunts are not available or advertised to the general public and are based on first come first reserved basis.
This is an amazing 5-day cow elk depredation with 1 guide for every 2 hunters.
100,000 acres available to hunt. 80% to 90% harvest percentage.
These hunts are sold out every year. Reservations for these hunts are time-sensitive, so put in your hunt request today! 50% deposits are required to reserve your hunt date.

No charge for adults, as bystanders, with their child hunter.
No charge for a hunter’s child, as a bystander (up to age 17).
Club members that are veterans, receive an additional club discount.
*Each hunting party should know all members in the party.
*INCLUDED: Fully guided (1 guide/2 hunters), field transportation, field processing, walk in freezer, food and lodging.
*NOT INCLUDED: Tag, license, alcoholic beverages & gratuities are not included. Landowner will secure your elk tag upon receipt of your deposit.
Hunt dates are typically Friday through Monday. Arrive early on Thursdays and sight in your rifles. Hunt Friday through Mondays and depart on Tuesday mornings.
Sampson Outdoors Exclusive Guarantee
If an elk hunt is booked and during that elk hunt, no elk are found on the ranch, then the booking parties can reschedule their cow elk depredation hunt for another date without any additional outfitter fees. However, if cow elk are located on the ranch and a kill opportunity is presented to a hunter, but the shooter misses the cow elk with the shot, the parties will be required to pay to reschedule a new hunt date.
*(These are exclusive reserved hunts for MEMBERS ONLY.) Includes: Four (4) nights lodging in a 5 bedroom house with all kitchenware, BBQ, refrigerator, washer/dryer, jacuzzi and showers.
- Do not need to be physically fit. Easy to moderate terrain. Packing out harvested animals are assisted with guide’s side by side UTV vehicle and winch.
- Shot opportunities range between 100 to 800 yards. Long range optics may be required for longer shots (400 to 800 yards) – If needed, hunters may use guide’s, long range rifles and optics at no additional charge. Most elk are harvested under 400 yards.
- Each hunter should be a proficient shooter out to a minimum of 300 yards.
- Each hunter must bring a sleeping bag.
- Each hunter should bring a 150 to 200 quart/extra large cooler to transport meat.
- Each hunter must purchase his/her Oregon hunting license online.
